- Make sure to train for rescue with your beacon.
- Never go out alone and tell your fiends / family where you plan to go for your itinerary.
- Do not follow just any ski trails, they may take you to hazardous and risky areas.
- Last, know when to stop... be vigilant and monitor weather and snow conditions. Everything can change very quickly.
