Unbelievable downhill run

Fans of downhill runs, experience a hair-raising day

Imagine the best downhill ride of your life: starting from Les Arcs, between altitude of 2000 and 1800 m, and finishing at one of the lowest parts of the valley: Centron (600 m above sea level)...and all that by combining two activities: downhill mountain biking and white-water rafting!!! A programme with guaranteed sensations for those who love a combination of ride and speed! Equipped with the accessories required for the slope, you will leave Les Arcs ski resort to speed down more than 20 km of ride between high mountain pastures and forests, using specially-converted courses on the various sites at Les Arcs, to reach Bourg St Maurice and more precisely the Olympic white-water centre. After a well-deserved meal, the downhill continues, but this time in teams of 7. Each team will board a raft for the full run down the Isère, i.e. more than 21km of white-water rafting on a river that is known throughout the world. Another atmosphere, new thrills in the “meat slicer”, the “Aimes Rapids” or the “Centron Gorges”...Try it and you will definitely want to do it again very soon. Program

- 8:00 a.m.: Meet up with your monitor at Bourg St Maurice in order to reach the starting point very quickly: the Aiguille Rouge at Arcs 2000.
- 9:00 a.m.: Everybody is fully-equipped and motivated: the hair-raising downhill ride can begin
- 12:30 p.m.: Time for a break: your legs feel heavy, your arms have been well-shaken, but you will experience complete happiness: bends tackled, jumps, pure downhilling...this first part of the hair-raising downhill ride was quite simply amazing...quick, let’s carry on! But first of all, time to recharge those batteries with a break for some food at the Olympic white-water centre
- 2:00 p.m.: Change of clothing: neoprene, helmet, lifejacket, and everybody jumps into the raft for more than 2 hours of tackling rapids and surfing on the waves over 21km before reaching Centron
- 6:00 p.m.: Back at your accommodation for a well-deserved rest after this amazing Premium Day by Tarentaise Tours.
