A fabulous river flows in the Tarentaise valley for fans of river runs: the Haute Isère!
This tumultuous waterway, known to canoeists throughout the world, possesses all of the assets required for an ideal white-water space. From an introduction to white-water rafting on the first part from Bourg St Maurice to Bellentre, to a sporty run over the Aime rapids, while discovering wild sites such as the Gorges de la Pucelle, there is something for all white-water fans.

This programme’s must:

The full run down the Isère: more than 21 km of white-water rafting: quite simply amazing, and unique in France
- Discovery Trip: Suits everybody, as a gentle introduction to the sensations of white-water rafting, along the water
- Full Trip: In order to experience the adventure from A to Z, cross the Aime Rapids and explore the Centron Gorges...more than 21 km of sheer happiness and a wonderful souvenir to take back with you

Program

- 9:00 a.m.: Reception at the white-water centre in Bourg St Maurice, by your river guide. He will show you the equipment and explain the basic rafting techniques and safety rules.
- 10:00 a.m.: Everybody is ready and equipped. The whole crew carries the boat for launching and it’s off for 2hrs15 of non-stop runs for the full trip (1hr15 for the Discovery trip)
- The first run of an introductory trip, between Bourg-Bellentre, enables everybody to gradually discover the techniques and sensations of white-water rafting, with the possibility for those who’d like, to swim down a small rapid. The next stage is reserved for the Full trip, with the sporty part of the Haute-Isère and all its mythical parts...great pleasure guaranteed!
