Funny canoeing on the Isère River

Sheer happiness quite simply

 

Whether alone or as a couple, a canoe-raft will let you taste the joys of gliding down one of the most famous rivers in the world: the Isère. Several champions have battled it out on the waters of the Isère, in kayaks and in canoes. Thanks to your inflatable boat, you will glide like a real kayakist and experience the same sensations but you don’t need to be an expert! Your river guide will take you on a wonderful journey: discover the beauty of the “Centron Gorges”, experience the adrenalin rush in the “Aime Rapids”, listen to the poetry of the “Meat slicer” or have fun with the jumps from the “Pont Romain”. And of course, enjoy learning the few basic techniques of kayaking: sheer pleasure in both the summer and the spring.

This programme’s must:

There are plenty of opportunities during this run for gaining autonomy on the river: learning how to position the boat, performing basic white-water moves (eddy turns, downstream eddy turns, ferry glide...)

Two trips depending on the water level:

* Bourg-Gothard Trip: 10 km - 1hr45 of class 3 canoe-rafting.
* Aime-Centron Trip: 7 km - 1hr30 of class 3/4 canoe-rafting

Program

- Meet up at the white-water centre, either early morning or early afternoon, depending on the option chosen
- Equipment and technical advice from the river guide
- Step aboard your canoe-raft
- After more than 1hr30 of runs and great times, back to the centre via the shuttle service
