AVALANCHE RESCUE SYSTEM

The ABS Avalanche Airbag cannot prevent an avalanche, but it can drastically increase
your chances of survival. When a skier activates the ABS Avalanche Airbag by pulling at
the trigger handle, two airbags inflate with a total volume of 170 litres (6.0 cu ft). The
airbags are made of the same high-strength material used to make automotive airbags.
Gas from a cartridge contributes to the airbag filling. Both the cartridges and the trigger
handles are refillable.
